The Gil Studio was founded in 1989 by Thomas Garcia. The studio was incorporated in 1993 at which time Raymond Clagnan joined the business as Vice President and shareholder. The studio is engaged exclusively in the fabrication, restoration and design of stained and leaded glass windows, with an emphasis on quality restoration of historical stained glass. Most of the studio’s work is concentrated in the New York City Metropolitan area with some projects completed in Florida, South Carolina, Maryland, Michigan and Illinois. Conveniently located in Brooklyn’s DUMBO district, the studio has an experienced full time staff whose skills include glass painting and conservation of painted glass as well as museum quality restoration of historically significant windows such as those by Tiffany Studios and Maitland Armstrong. All stained glass work is carried out at The Gil Studio by Gil Studio employees with no subcontracting, insuring quality control and timely completion of each project. |
